AWESOME STORE! My partner and I traveled about an hour to visit this place, and we were totally blown away with the selection! They had almost everything we were looking for, including gluten free soy/dark soy sauce, gluten free fish cake, gluten free buckwheat noodles, I could go on. They seem to have a really nice variety of Asian products outside of the typical Chinese, Japanese, and Korean products seen in stores. Would definitely recommend, and we will be coming back!
Sunrise Asian Food Market is such a gem in Eugene! If you’re looking for anything niche to Asian cuisine or culture, this is the place to go. I’m originally from Hawaii, and I come here often because they always have the goodies that remind me of home. Their selection makes it easy to find specialty items for cooking without having to make the long drive up to Uwajimaya in Beaverton. The store is well-stocked, the prices are fair, and it’s such a reliable spot for both everyday staples and harder-to-find ingredients. Love this place–can’t recommend it enough for locals looking to get their Asian food fix!
A great surprise in the middle of Eugene. Deep selection of Asian food items. A Bay Area local and this store has even more than some groceries in the bay. People are very helpful and nice and are willing to help highly recommend if you need anything Asian!
I really love this place. It is packed with so many wonderful foods and curiosity and surprises! If I lived in Eugene I would stop there all the time. It's an experience.
Despite its modest size, the establishment offers a remarkable selection of products within the area. The owner is exceptionally helpful, and the staff provides excellent assistance with any requirements you may have.
Love this place! It always puts a smile on my wife’s face when we get to go there, she is from the Philippines. Reminds me of some of the small stores in Cebu, a little bit of everything. A rice selection that takes up an entire wall, lots of noodles, spices and sauces that you can’t find anywhere else, fish (yes they have milk fish), fresh veggies (bitter root) and the list goes on. We make it a point that anytime we go to Eugene we stop by to stock up.
